[20:06] Jaye Jeffries: ::walks onto the bridge, relieving Dr Lardner of command. He notices that the Relliketh has set course for New Bajor, and sits heavily in the captains chair.
[20:06] Takira Sukra: ((tries to remember what she was doing last week))
[20:07] Talon Lardner gives a brief salute before retreating back to sickbay. She feared just ending up being trapped there again, but she still had half a shift to kill.
[20:07] Hladson Kappler: :: sits in the Fist Officer's chair, looks around the bridge at the officers working::
[20:08] Takira Sukra looks some historical data for one of her research papers she is working from inside her office
[20:08] Jaye Jeffries: ::looks back toward Dr Lardner, grabbing her attention before she left the bridge "Dr, any further report on the signal we recieved? Did they identify who was attacking them or give any further information?"
[20:09] Culama Foxclaw: watches the scientist he just patched up leave and begins putting away the medical tools
[20:09] Talon Lardner blinked a bit with suprise, feeling a bit guilty about the response she had to give. "No sir... only just the automated signal."
[20:09] Teyshan Inaka: A storm rages overhead.....Timor! ::Inaka calls out to the elder of the village he is asigned to:: "Timor! are the animals locked in? I can't find you!" :: He stumbles over uneven terrain as he looks for the elder Timor, he knows he has a tendancy to let his livestaock out durring storms..."Timor!, in the name of the Prophets where are you!?..:Lighting crashes dangerously close
[20:10] Teyshan Inaka: ::he stumbles and hits his head on something hard and feels pain:
[20:10] Jaye Jeffries: ::nods, hoping that the Relliketh will be able to gain some more information in short time. He nods at the Doctor, turning back to stare at the main viewer. He just hoped that New Bajor would survive until the Relliketh could arrive to render assistance. Who could be attacking? What could be their motive?
[20:11] Hladson Kappler: :: Me turns to Unadecal Arado::
[20:12] Hladson Kappler: Mr. Arado, I'd like you to check for any ships on long range scan that may be moving away from the colony.
[20:12] Teyshan Inaka: ::He opens his eyes and sees a blue sky above......at first Inaka is confused,"What? where is the stortm?" :: then he notices streaks of black and grey smoke drift acros the blue firls in his vison and begins to feel the pain in his head again, this time more urgent
[20:12] Hladson Kappler: We may find survivors or even those responsible
[20:12] Talon Lardner returned to Sickbay, peeking in cautiously, unsure what would await her inside, fearing the worst

[20:13] Jaye Jeffries: ::The Relliketh cruised through open space at Warp 8, the stars streaking past almost wistfully as she apprached New Bajor
[20:13] Culama Foxclaw starts to look over some more of the crew records still unabel to get his capturer off his mind not noticing the doctors entry

[20:14] Jaye Jeffries: ::The helmsman looks over his shoulder toward first officer Kappler "sir" he said with slight hesitation "we have arrive at New Bajor"

[20:16] Talon Lardner: "Nurse." She introduces herself simply as she enters, releaved that Sickbay is at least in one piece. "We need to prep for possible incoming injured, and I could use your help... are the beds ready?"
[20:16] ::Una:: Sir there is a weak ion trail, but no ships on long range sensors that I can detect. The ion trail may be related or just a ship that passed close to the system, I can't be sure.
[20:16] Jaye Jeffries: ::Jeffries stands up, walking toward the viewscreen "put New Bajor on the front viewer" New Bajor appears, giving no clue as to what had attacked her, or why. Jeffries looks back toward his 1st officer, feeling slightly apprehensive, then looks toward Arado as he gives this report.
[20:18] Culama Foxclaw: looks up and jumps in the seat starteled by theappearence of the doctor "yes maam" gets up " all of sick bay is still preped from morning practice with the beta shift but i will check on it to make sure every thing is still stocked" goes to work hopping to get a litttle conversation with the doctor
[20:18] Teyshan Inaka: ::as he walks the road towards the vilage square the devestaion is beyond his comprehension:: "How can this be?....::then a more urgant thought enters his shocked mind:: "whe....where is everyone?"" ""HELLO!!!, Is anyone here?!" :: he stumbles towards the nearest ruin seeking anyone::
[20:19] Jaye Jeffries: ::Jeffries taps his badge "Counsellor to the bridge please". He hoped that, should the Relliketh be able to raise a colonist on the main viewer, the counsellor may provide assistance if they were distressed or panicking.
[20:19] Takira Sukra: ::taps her combadge:: "On my way Major."
[20:19] Takira Sukra: ::saves her work and closes it
[20:20] ::Mimps:: Sensors show massive destruction to all of the setelment's buildings. I am detecting very few lifesigns, hard to tell if they are Bajoran with all the chaos down there.
[20:20] Talon Lardner: "Sounds like a good plan!" She smiled as she walked over to grab her personal tools, making sure everything was in check. "Let's hope our services won't be needed, shall we?" She offered, slumping down in her chair
[20:20] Takira Sukra: ::nods a couple crewmen as she makes her way to the turbolift::
[20:21] Teyshan Inaka: ::nothing but rubble and blackend walls..he half expected seeing bodies and was in awe at how well he was handling this thus far. a stray thought enters his mind "is this shock?" what happens when you find someone?" ::He brushes that unwanted thought aside and searches further::
[20:21] Takira Sukra: ::steps onto the bridge from the turbolife and heads over to her chair:: "What is the problem Major?"
[20:22] Culama Foxclaw: yes that is best *the nurse says as he pickks up a device from the floor and taps a button on the console*"so how was the bridge duty?"
[20:23] Jaye Jeffries: ::gestures toward Kappler "number one, prepare an away team to take to the surface - yourself, dr lardner, nurse foxclaw and counsellor sukra. And take mr Schumann just to be safe" Jeffries turns back toward the counsellor "We are about to try hailing the colony, counsellor" then looks towards the comms officer "hail New bajor, the central operations district"
[20:24] Talon Lardner: "Boring..." She admitted honestly, cueing up a few medical procedures on her monitor. "Though that's one hour closer to my eligability for the Bridge Officer's Exam."
[20:25] Hladson Kappler contacts those officers not on the bridge and informs them to meet him by the transporter for an away mission
[20:25] Takira Sukra: ::follows XO to the transporter::
[20:25] Culama Foxclaw: "hey im sure you will pass itand make it soon enough"
[20:25] Teyshan Inaka: :: smoke drifts from the smuldering remains of the meeting house burning his eyes and making it difficult to see::
[20:25] Hladson Kappler passes through medical on his way to the transporter
[20:26] Jaye Jeffries: ::the Bajoran comms officer looks over her shoulder, "Sir, there is no response from the planet". Jeffries nods "keep trying ensign" then turns toward Kappler "it may be more serious than we would have hoped, number one. Take extreme caution, and stay in contact with us at regular intervals"
[20:26] Culama Foxclaw: looks to the doctor" well this isit my first away mission since*pauses* well you know"
[20:26] Hladson Kappler: Doctor, Nurse, do you have everything for the away mission. We don't know the injuries or casulty rates yet.
[20:27] Talon Lardner: "And I'll get that fancy red uniform, and get my own command.... I can see it now, I'd get some old Ambassador or Olympic class ship, making medical runs from Earth to Andoria or Vulcan." She blinks a little as she is paged, then perks up. "Oh, sorry, we're all set here and able to take up to 6 wounded."
[20:28] Teyshan Inaka: :: another thought occures, what if the attackers are still here? :: Inaka searches the ground and finds what apperas to be part of a roof support and brandishes it as a pathetinc weaopn:: part of him mind , still in hold of itself laughs at the folly of a stick against what these attackers were capable off;;
[20:28] Jaye Jeffries: ::stand up from his chair, feeling anxious. How he missed the days of leading the away missions himself. But he had every confidence in his first officer, and was certain that the away team would render whatever assistence they could with great alacrity and efficiency. And yet....he paced the bridge, walking from one station to the next, not gaining any new information but rather inwardly reflecting.
[20:28] Hladson Kappler: Okay to the transporter
[20:28] Hladson Kappler: Mr. Shumann, keep on your guard. We don't know what to expect.
[20:28] Culama Foxclaw: grabs the two medical kits on the side of the room i am ready sir* aslight nervouse tone in his voice ::but can i do this::

[20:29] Teyshan Inaka: :: Inaka continues his, so far fruitless search, the horror of what he is seeing still not sinking in::
[20:30] Talon Lardner hops up as well, herself grabbing her own gear, slinging a large bag over her sholder before stepping up to the transporter. "If trouble hits, just fall in behind me, and I'll keep you safe."
[20:30] Hladson Kappler: The away team steps on the transporter pad. Light engulfs them. The relliketh fades away to reveal devistation.
[20:30] Krahazik Zaytsev: ::continues his basic houskepeing chores, pausing as a screen to double check the new hardware::
[20:30] Culama Foxclaw 's heart beats faster and begins to breath heavier with each step toward the pad
[20:31] Hladson Kappler: Okay, Shumann, secure the area, the rest of us will be searching for survivors.
[20:32] Jaye Jeffries: ::continues to pace the bridge, and decides to head back to his chair - it was his responsibility to provide a confident and certain attitude, some if not all of the crew relied on him to be certain about his decisions and confident in their abilities

[20:32] Hladson Kappler: doctor, any radiation or toxins we should be aware of?
[20:32] Culama Foxclaw: feels a wave of teror as he matrializes and cannot find the strength to move
[20:33] Teyshan Inaka: :: Inaka feels something thick on the side of his face, he reaches up with his free hand and touches his temple, his fingertips come back wet.....""Oh this can't be good"...better find old Jerra
[20:34] Talon Lardner: None that I am aware of, sir. *she admitted honestly, studying the readouts of her tricorder. "Air's pretty clean... well, clean enough for what we need to do."
[20:34] Takira Sukra: ::shifts around some of the ruins::
[20:35] Hladson Kappler: Any lifesigns?
[20:35] Teyshan Inaka: :: Inaka stumbles on..horror conflicting with an urgent need to find anyone alive::
[20:35] Hladson Kappler remembers the Majors instructions to keep in contact
[20:35] Jaye Jeffries: ::taps his comm badge, opening a channel to his first officer "Mr Kappler, report? what is the assessment so far, have you found any surivors? What is the degree of damage?" and hopes that his questions will provide information that doesn't confirm his worst fears
[20:36] Hladson Kappler: Sir the place is in ruins, all burnt, possibly from orbital bombardment
[20:36] Talon Lardner flips up her tricorder again, studying the readout carefully. "Things are looking pretty bad... I'm getting a lot of electrostatic interference, I'd say a handful of survivors here, sir."
[20:36] Takira Sukra: ::picks up a child's toy, looks at it for a bit and then places it gently back on the ground where she found it::
[20:36] Hladson Kappler: we haven't found any survivors as of yet but we are still looking
[20:36] Teyshan Inaka: "" I don't understand" :: his mind amazingly able to function:: "where is everyone? this can't be everyone
[20:37] Takira Sukra: ::moves a bit further off::
[20:38] Talon Lardner: Sir.... over here! *She yells out, waving the crew over to her as she heads to the east. "I'm picking up someone over here, but I need somone with sharper eyes to double check."
[20:38] Teyshan Inaka: ""he has found a few bodies here and there, some he knew, others only by glance, he said a quick prayer to the Prophets asking to have them recieved in to the Celestial Temple:: "They deserve more but I must keep looking""
[20:38] Jaye Jeffries: ::nods at the exec's report, and clasps his hands behind his back as he stares at the carpet momentarily "keep me updated should you discover anything new, Relliketh out"
[20:38] Teyshan Inaka: :: a wave of dissiness comes over him but he fights it and keeps moving::
[20:38] Takira Sukra: ::heads over to the Doctor's area, trying to step over debries and tripping over a piece now and then::
[20:39] ::Shumann:: Sir, I don't see any signs of enemies still in the area, but I can tell there were troops on the surface. Tracks, feet too big to be Bajoran, in boots.
[20:39] Culama Foxclaw: ::stands unmoving seeing nothing of the planet side horror around him instead replaying the hundreds of shpless forms engulfing his and cutting off all outside light
[20:40] Teyshan Inaka: :: vison blurring as he walks further: "Damnit! NOT NOW!"
[20:40] Hladson Kappler heads over to the Doctor
[20:40] Hladson Kappler: Where Doctor?
[20:41] Takira Sukra: ::looks down at her leg and see she has cut herself on some debries but continue to the Doctor's location, looking in the general area for anything or anyone::
[20:41] Talon Lardner: Over here! *she yelled out, lifting up the tricorder to try and get a better signal* Somewhere in this rubble... I can smell his blood!
[20:41] Jaye Jeffries: ::considers the implications of this severe attack on New Bajor. This would permanently affect Bajor's plans for colonising the Gamma Quadrant - he knew too well how the Provisional Government would respond to this act of aggression by an unknown assailant. They would retreat from the Gamma Quadrant, perhaps even utilising DS9 as a type of sentry to this new threat - not only to guard the wormhole and potential attack by Cardassians. This thought occurred to him suddenlly...Cardassian! Could it be them? Jeffries felt his blood boil suddenly, how he would love to vent some of his feelings by clasping his hands around a cardassian neck!
[20:42] Teyshan Inaka: :: he is confused now, but he is hearing voices:: "Oh great, now I am hallicinating"
[20:42] Hladson Kappler digs carfully through the rubbel
[20:42] Teyshan Inaka: "no, it may be villiagers":: he stumbles towards the sound though his vision is wavering::
[20:43] Hladson Kappler clears an opening to a shed that somehow survived the blasts
[20:43] Takira Sukra: ::trips over something as she made her way to where Hlad is trying to clear away debries::
[20:43] Teyshan Inaka: :: he calls out, hoping it is not the enemy but desperate to find anyone" HELLO! IS ANYONE THERE?!
[20:44] Jaye Jeffries: ::looks over his shoulder as the chief engineer, Mr Krahazik, enters the bridge - perhaps to monitor some readings from his engineering bridge console. He nods slightly in aknowledgement of the engineer, watching as he busily goes about his business.
[20:44] Talon Lardner: "Can you hear me?" The gorn yells out at the top of her lungs, hearing a faint voice. "We're here to help! Where are you?"
[20:44] Teyshan Inaka: :: a wave of relifef:: I'm Here!
[20:45] Hladson Kappler: Doctor, you go with Shumann and check that out
[20:45] Teyshan Inaka: :: Inaka makes it to the undamaged well buy the ruins of a home::
[20:45] Krahazik Zaytsev: ::nods to the captain coming to stand at my console and monitor the situation::
[20:45] Hladson Kappler: Culama, give me hand, there might be survivors in this shed
[20:45] Hladson Kappler: Takira you better go with the Doctor. The person may need more that Talon's help
[20:45] Culama Foxclaw: dreams of the darkness and then sees a mirror illuminated infront of him and in it is his reflection. only the mirror melts away leaving the copy onf the young part vulcan sneering back. *falls down*
[20:45] Takira Sukra: Yes sir
[20:46] Jaye Jeffries: ::looks back toward the chief engineer, a thought occuring to him "Mr Krahazik, is there any way you could make some modifications to the sensors to cut through the magnetic distortion in the atmosphere - to allow us to scan for lifesigns? I realise the unique atmosphere of New Bajor makes it all but impossible, but this is really quite a desperate situations. If we could only scan for survivors!"
[20:46] Takira Sukra: ::heads over to where the Doctor is at::
[20:46] Talon Lardner: "Roger, sir..." She reported before darting over to the voice, digging through her bag to pull out a flashlight, holding it out to hopefully make herself more visible
[20:46] Hladson Kappler hears the nurse fall to the ground shortly after the rest of the party is out of earshot
[20:46] Krahazik Zaytsev: "I will see what I can do sir."
[20:47] Hladson Kappler: damn
[20:47] Krahazik Zaytsev: ::access the sensorr logs and begins an analysis of the planet's atmosphere::
[20:47] Culama Foxclaw: hears only the a faint call from the XO as the darkness surrounds him again
[20:47] Hladson Kappler: Culama, wake up. :me shakes the nurse::
[20:47] Jaye Jeffries: ::continues his externalised thoughts as he speaks with the chief engineer "if there is any way at all to render help to the away team..."
[20:47] Takira Sukra: ::catches up with the Doctor. "What do you need me to do Doctor?"
[20:48] Hladson Kappler checks his tricorder but has little medical experience to understand the readings

[20:48] Hladson Kappler: Kappler to Dr. Lardner...
[20:48] Culama Foxclaw: remains still on the ground
[20:48] Krahazik Zaytsev: "Remote sensor buies."
[20:48] Hladson Kappler: Culama's fainted. I'm not sure what's wrong
[20:48] Krahazik Zaytsev: Sir I think I have somehting.
[20:49] Krahazik Zaytsev: If the way team can deploy some remote sensor pods we can use them to cut through some of the interfiereance and increase our coverage of the colony sight
[20:49] Hladson Kappler looks through the nurse's med kit
[20:50] Talon Lardner rubs her chin a little... "This visibility is hurting things pretty badly..." she admitted. After hearing the Kappler page her, she replies "Allright, I'll be here. Takira, continue looking for the survivor." she ordered, handing her the medical tricorder and flashlight. "I think he or she would react better to you than me anyway. " She then ran over to check on her nurse, frantically checking for vitals.
[20:50] Culama Foxclaw: breaths shallowly
[20:51] Takira Sukra: ::looks at the tricorder and flashes the light around. "Hello? Is anyone out there?"
[20:51] Jaye Jeffries: :;stands up from the captains chair and walks to the rear of the bridge, where Chief Kappler taps busily at the engineering console. Jeffries pulls his uniform top down to remove the bunching creases which always appear at the top near his armpits, and looks at Krahazik as he gives this report "Excellent, contact chief kappler and let him know your thoughts. Have him prepare to recieve some of these remote sensor pods"

[20:52] Takira Sukra: ::stops and tries to be silent as possible. "Can you continue to yell so I can locate you?"
[20:52] Hladson Kappler: Where is that Doctor ::feeling panic::

[20:52] Talon Lardner: "I don't know what's wrong with him..." she sighed, carefully shifting his body onto his back. "He's just... out. I'm seeing a high amount of neural activity, as if he was asleep."

[20:53] Jaye Jeffries: ::suddenly realises he referred to the executive officer as the chief, and stifles a smile "oh my apologies Chief Zaytsev, I still need to get used to your new assignments" and returns to the captain chair in slight embarassment.

[20:55] Talon Lardner nods solemly, looking with worry over her nurse, letting a clawed hand adjust his hair a little. "I'm worried about bringing him out of this.... it could do him more harm than good... I think there may have been some sort of reaction with the transporter or something..."

[20:55] Krahazik Zaytsev: ::recives the ready report form the engineering team and beams an armed 5 man team down to the surface with the probes.::
[20:55] Takira Sukra: ::shines a light down where she thinks she hears the person. "Can you see my light?"

[20:56] Jaye Jeffries: ::taps his badge "in addition mr kappler, let Dr Lardner know that we have sent an emergency comms to DS9. We expect some assistance with dealing with any casualities or injuries, however that help could be some time off - we're on our own for the time being. I know you'll do your best to render assistance, let us know if there is anything else we can provide. Relliketh out"
[20:56] Hladson Kappler: It may be best to beam him up to the ship, anyone on duty that can look after him while we continue to look down here?
[20:56] Teyshan Inaka: ::He stops, seeing a beam of light appear:: yes
[20:56] Krahazik Zaytsev: ::A Lt glances about quickly as 3 of his ensignes emideiatly draw phasers and look aorund the beamin site.::

[20:57] Krahazik Zaytsev: ::the Lt taps his combadge with a nod to the team leader of the security detail securing the site. "Lt Toran to Cmdr Kappler. Engineering team 2 has arrived on site."::

[20:58] Krahazik Zaytsev: ::the 3 ens holster their phasers and begin looking over the 12 tubs they brought with them.::
[20:58] Hladson Kappler turns to greet the engineering crew setting up their equipment
[20:59] Takira Sukra: ::clears some more debries and attempts to shine the light down to see if she can find the individual::
[20:59] Takira Sukra: ::think she sees someone and crawls in a bit further to verify::
[21:00] ::Engineer Reed:: Sir we'll have this set up in a matter of moments, it will boost all tricorder scans
[21:00] Teyshan Inaka: :: as his head clears he realises he is infact in a hole/cave....:: "What in the Prophets name?"

[21:00] Culama Foxclaw: continues to dream of the copy now surrounded by the people in his life friends, family, and officers that all begin to fall dead around the copy fadding to the darkness as the last disapears the nurse is filled with anger and charges the copy*screams in ager as he sits up with open eyes regaining consiousnes in a sudden burst

[21:01] Talon Lardner continues to monitor the fallen nurse, mystified by his condition. "Could be some sort of allergic reaction..." she spoke to herself. "Or a strAAAAH!" SHe yelled out loud, falling backwards from her kneeled state as Culama wakes up suddenly
[21:01] Krahazik Zaytsev: ::An crewman lifts one up vertical and presses abutton extending its tripod legs. The device is about 4 meters tall resembling an overlarge transporter patern enhancer. 6 entana like objects unfold near the top extending in all directions.::

[21:02] Takira Sukra: ::looks at the dirty individual with what looks a head wound. "How are you? Any broken bones? Can you move?"

[21:04] Krahazik Zaytsev: ::the crewman sets it down and checks a small readout as he activates the device. A beam of blue light shoots from the top into the sky vanishing into the distance.::
[21:04] Culama Foxclaw: finnally settels his gaze on the doctor "what do you mean by real world where am i?"
[21:05] Talon Lardner: "You were out cold for the past fifteen minutes." She explained as she stood back up, dusting off her uniform. "Like you were in a coma, or had fallen asleep."
[21:05] Takira Sukra: Well, he stuck in a hole or basement of some sort from the appearance. We need to widen the hole for him to get him out safely
[21:05] Krahazik Zaytsev: AH! ::comments as a signal blip appears on his consol. He begins modifying the data comm array he had configured to locking the signal from the probe.::

[21:09] Talon Lardner: The gorn paused in worry at the Nurse's response. Instantly, hundreds of possible diagnoses flooded her mind, each one worse than the last. "Sir... I think you should answer that first." She answered as a test. "And the current date and your assignment."

Nobody mentioned our sole survivor was a Vedek! Welcome aboard the Relliketh sir, it as an honour..." Jeffries pauses as the medics set to work

[21:15] Hladson Kappler shines a light into the shed to find a dozen children huddled in fear

"Well, the cliff notes of the situation is, there was an accident, you're a nurse, and I'm going to help you."

[21:17] Talon Lardner perked up, then looked back to the nurse. "Stay there... or follow me, your choice." She ordered before running over to the room with the children, making sure to show the kids both of her empty hands before grabbing her tricorder to take a peek at their vitals. "They look a little roughed up, but none are critical." she diagnosed, hoping they won't react negatively to her appearance; she wasn't very popular in pediatrics back at the academy.
[21:18] Jaye Jeffries: :: taps his badge, nodding to the Vedek as he is half carried to sickbay "Understood Kappler, have them transported directly to sickbay, along with any other survivors requiring medical attention."

"Things are pretty messed up on the surface, so we're going to help send you somewhere where you can get healed up, and possibly find your parents.... " She sighed a little and rubbed her forehead again. She WANTED to be better with children, but she got so little practice.

Jeffries walks through the circular door, and approaches the sickbay bed where the Vedek rests "Vedek, ca nyou tell me....do you see who attacked New Bajor? Did you see the troops or the ships? [21:23] Hladson Kappler looks at the shed and sees that it is reinforced with sturdy beams. It is no wonder the parents put their children in the shed at the first sign of attack.
[21:23] Takira Sukra: Mr. Shumann, if you can't dig me out relatively soon, i suggest finding both of my feet and pulling real hard. I think some of the debries here is shift from the digging

The lT kneels down next to the first and begins making some adjustments ofr the differance in elevation between the enhancers and the target.::

[21:35] Hladson Kappler is glad as the transporter light fades and they are back on the ship
[21:36] Talon Lardner helps as well, making sure to only help out the kids who are the least afraid of her, making sure to keep herself calm. Once aboard, she excused herself for a small moment to catch her breath... it had been a very long time since she had done a live rescue mission like that
[21:37] Jaye Jeffries: ::the USS Sydney arrives at New Bajor, and sends a comms signal through to the bridge informing them that they will render any assistance to the Relliketh and the colony of New Bajor as required
